I ́ve been a calisthenics and movement coach for the last 10 years, spent endless hours , days , seasons, exploring different movement modalities, falling in love with some , leaving others behind but ultimately always trying to grow, evolve and expand as an individual,
athlete and as a professional.
My teaching method is a sum of all these past and present experiences, a compilation of all training modalities that made me be the athlete I am today, a representation of what I believe to be the ultimate way to find your true inner potential through movement and performance.
When it comes to training we all have different expectations, goals and dreams to pursuit, nevertheless , my life experience taught me that there are few principles we must follow when it comes to develop our own “ Perfect Training Regimen / Method “ :
General Training Principles :
– Consistency is key , Structure is the door
– If there’s no passion and excitement involved, we ́ll drop it
– We need to step out of comfort zone sometimes
– Meaningful changes and achievements comes with time, patient and dedication
– Continuing education is mandatory in order to keep progressing
Gravity Based Training Specific Principles:
– Movement Literacy comes first ( Mobility , Stability , Integration of Neurological,
Physiological and Musculo-Skeletal Systems )
– Master your Bodyweight before jumping into Weight Training
– Every training session is an opportunity to be better
– We don’t train to “pay bills” or burn calories
– We shoot for the stars, dream big and cultivate the “ Everything is Possible” mindset
– We set achievable, tangible goals but also unimaginable, “unreal” goals
These principles are the pillars, foundations of my daily practice and teaching, the non- negotiables , the rules that allowed me overtime to develop the best training strategies and techniques to ultimately empower my students with the resources, tools and knowledge necessary for them to build autonomy , passion and consistency when it comes to choose a training style that help them achieve their unique dreams and goals.
